All programs are opened to the general public as well!

This is not a formal support group.  It is just a social hour where members help members.  One of our members came up with this idea because he has had to find his own programs and figure things out.

Dinner is served from 6:30 -7:30 and the jam session starts by 8 pm.  Area professional musicians run the jam, and anyone can join in!  Mike Clancey, local musician, is our main one, and pulls our members up on stage with him regularly.  The other key musicians are Buster Morgan and Linda Mountain.  Some nights we have as many as 6 professionals on stage! 

Writers Group  Wednesday - 5-7 pm

Participants are encouraged to bring five photocopies of what they are reading, and are limitied to five pages, or three poems.  Criticism offered is real, and based on observations like "That isn't clear..." 

Poetry open mic from 7-9pm

The writers group will continue.  But, we will be adding an open mic from 7-9 pm for any poet who wants to read.

Thursday - 7-pm - Johari's Window

 A night of just fun.  Anything creative goes - whether music, writing, drawing etc.  We did this for a short time last year, and had more fun with it. We did things like sending a drawing around the room, and as many as ten people would complete the drawing.   People were in groups, a couple playing scrabble, a couple talking about writing, a couple playing with the guitar and keyboard...just fun.

Friday nights 7-10 pm - BYOI

Bring Your Own Instrument - it will be a back porch style jam session.  Getting on stage tuesday nights can be intimidating when the professionals with great voices are playing.  Some just won't join them so Fridays will be geared to the amatuer musicians!

Saturday from 11-4pm

 We will open our stage to kid groups. Age doesn't matter, but under age 18 we will need parents consent!

Treys House 5 pm

We encourage members to bring their ideas as well as any concerns.  Meeting is open to the public.

For a minimum of $100 you can be part of the Treys House support wall for 2010!  Join us and believe!
